My name is Heather. I am married to the love of my life and am the mother of 2 wonderful boys. God has blessed me in more ways than I ever could have imagined.
When I was somewhere between 6-8 my aunt and cousin taught me to crochet, for years I could crochet nothing but squares (think dishcloths and potholders that my sweet mom made out to be the greatest little things in the world :) I love her) and then I moved on to bigger squares for very simple blankets. One day I guess I just got tired of squares and decided to branch out a bit. Ever since then I have been crocheting anything I can come up with that I think is a cute idea. Believe me, not all of my 'cute ideas' turn out so cute.
'Work of hART' was kind of an accident. Not really an accident, but not a planned thing. When my sister had her first child, my sweet baby niece, last year, I started making these cute little caps that my sister just loved. And then her friends started asking for them.....then one of them wanted to know if I could make a poncho...hmm, never have but I'll give it a shot! Luckily, that was a success :)
And here I am today with 'Work of hART'. I love to crochet and apparently people love to buy these crocheted accessories. But I hate going to website after website of extremely overpriced 'boutique' crocheted items. So if I can do something that I love and make a few extra dollars so that I can be at home with my boys and it saves you a few extra dollars at the same time, I am all about it!
